Antimicrobial Stewardship Professional

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. The ideal candidate will have experience in antimicrobial stewardship and infectious diseases management, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Job Description:
  • Oversee the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program across all sites, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of program activities.
  • Design, establish, and implement a new model of Antimicrobial Stewardship using a fee for service approach.
  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership to pharmacists involved in the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) recognized for registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians or equivalent.
  • Eligibility for Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
  • Specialist training in Infectious Diseases.
  • Proven experience in antimicrobial stewardship and infectious diseases management.
