Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mine Supervisor to join our team at MMG, a leading mining company. As a Mine Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations in our underground mine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of employees, ensuring tasks are assigned to personnel with the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Confirm personnel are fit for work and have the resources required for allocated tasks.
  • Ensure production targets and priorities are safely met as per the daily plan and direction from the Mine Superintendent.
  • Drive safety behaviors to achieve zero harm and promote a safety-first culture.

Requirements

  • A total commitment to safety.
  • Demonstrated experience in an underground mine.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience at an underground mine.
  • Exposure and experience with the operation of a variety of mining equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a hard rock mining environment, including both development and production.
  • General experience with mine ventilation, dewatering, geotechnical awareness, and drill and blast methods.
  • Ability to problem solve and multitask.
  • Comfortable to present and speak in front of large groups of people.
