About Our STEM Role

We are seeking an Educator to coordinate various programs nationally, supporting our Education and Skills Strategies to improve community engagement and build a diverse pipeline of talent in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an overall strategy as part of our Education and Skills plan.
  • Contribute to our STEM outreach strategy ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Design and maintain content and learning materials for events, including Work Experience Programs.
  • Plan and deliver onsite Work Experience Programs nationally.
  • Support stakeholders in developing project-funded work experience programs where required.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities for Influencers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective events.
  • Report on outreach conduct and outcomes.
About You

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Events Co-ordination, Training, Education or a related STEM area would be highly regarded.

Experience coordinating work experience and/or training activities and events across multiple locations and functions.

Background in working with children, high school students, and young professionals is essential.

You will need strong self-management skills and ability to work independently to deliver quality outputs on time.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences is necessary.

Ability to balance conflicting priorities to meet business requirements.

Strong results orientation, resilience, and a positive approach to issue resolution.

Ability to motivate, coordinate, and manage volunteers and site coordinators.

Intermediate MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
