**Job Overview**

The ideal candidate will have recent experience as a day or cafe manager, with strong listening and verbal communication skills. They will be responsible for ensuring top-tier food, drink, and cleanliness standards in all operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Team happiness and effectiveness: Oversee training, rostering, and hiring to maintain a motivated team.
  • Shift management and process improvement: Run shifts efficiently, and implement new processes to optimise workflow.
  • Inventory and vendor management: Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, and supply orders.
  • Menu profitability: Develop and maintain a profitable and appealing menu.
  • Customer experience: Continuously uplift the customer experience with a welcoming atmosphere and high service standards.

**Requirements**

Professional Requirements:

  • 1 or more years of recent experience as a day or cafe manager.
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety.

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in Hospitality or related industry.
  • Baking or food handling experience.
