We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Registrar to join our team in a busy emergency department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled doctor to work with a traditional firm of doctors, including consultants, other registrars, medical officers and interns.
The role will involve working in the Children's ward, SCN, WHU & ED, as well as attending deliveries and theatre when required. Our hospital values your career growth and offers many training opportunities and career progression.
Located less than 40 kilometres southeast of Melbourne, you will have the best of both worlds. Enjoy a relaxed suburban atmosphere amidst beautiful beaches and waterfront areas, while being close enough to commute to Melbourne for work, education, or entertainment purposes.
This region boasts stunning natural beauty, with the Mornington Peninsula and nearby Dandenong Ranges offering opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, exploring wineries, and enjoying picturesque landscapes.

The hospital is a major healthcare provider, serving metropolitan and rural areas with acute, secondary, and tertiary hospital services. It provides general and specialty medical and surgical services, emergency and intensive care, aged care, rehabilitation, oncology, mental health, maternity, paediatric services, and Hospital in the Home (HITH).
We have affiliations with Monash University and Deakin University and links with other universities in postgraduate studies. This is a large, modern hospital with excellent working conditions and a strong focus on work/life balance.
To be eligible, you must hold General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or be eligible to obtain it. International Medical Graduates may also apply via the Competent Authority Pathway or if assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable.
Please note that experience working as a Paediatric Registrar is highly desirable.
