We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Trade Assistant to join our team at ELMO. As an Electrical Trade Assistant, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical equipment.
  • Work closely with our electrical team to ensure that all electrical work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest electrical technologies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other building systems.

Requirements:

  • Completed school studies to year 10 or above.
  • Ideal candidate will have completed Certificate II in Electrotechnology (not essential).
  • Excellent safety awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on approach to enjoy mechanical and technical work.
  • An interest in working with electrical systems and a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
