Leadership Role

This is a key central position in the leadership team of the Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Directorate. Working with the Executive Director, it coordinates delivery of programs and projects across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates delivery of programs and projects across multiple teams.
  • Leads the policy and projects team which provides the interface to national committees and partners in safety and quality.
  • Undertakes special projects such as coordinating system-wide investigations and reviews as required by the director general.

The Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Directorate comprises multiple teams working together with health service providers, national and international partners; these teams deliver safety and quality and clinical governance programs with the aim of improving staff experience and patient outcomes across the health system.

Working closely with health service providers, national and international partners; we drive significant improvements in staff experience and patient outcomes. Our goal is to improve healthcare quality intelligence and support high-quality care across the WA health system.

As part of this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that improve patient safety and quality. This includes leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement new strategies.
