Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at One Care Medical Centre. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of your patients every day.

This is a permanent position that allows you to leverage your extensive clinical expertise and passion for holistic healthcare to provide exceptional care to the community. You will be responsible for providing general nursing care to patients and working collaboratively with our General Practitioners, Allied Health, and Practice Nurses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking medical history and undertaking clinical examinations
  • Assisting in emergency medical responses and arranging necessary investigations
  • Prescribing medications/vaccinations and ordering diagnostic investigations
  • Implementing management plans and providing preventive health care
  • Contributing to health assessments and medication management, and conducting regular examinations and follow-ups
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
