Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Café Team Member to join our team. As a key member of the café staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve hot and cold food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the café area, including tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Inventory Management: Restock items on shelves and in fridges and freezers
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain food hygiene and safety standards at all times
  • Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth operations
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
  • Physical Abilities: Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • Previous Experience: Previous coffee making experience preferred but not essential
