As a senior electrical engineer in building services, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projects with a global team. We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our Sydney team.

About the Role

This is an excellent chance to demonstrate leadership, contribute to business success, and develop strong relationships with clients. Your role will involve providing expertise in electrical design for both single and multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Design Expertise: Lead electrical design on projects, particularly in aviation, resources or rail.
  • Project Leadership: Manage small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger ones.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients, colleagues and authorities.
  • Best Practices and Cost Optimization: Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising quality.
  • Client Relationship Development: Build solid, long-term relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities and understanding their evolving needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering;
  • Specialist expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation;
  • 6-10 years' experience on Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment;
  • Experience in delivering multiple projects across various sectors and scales;
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
  • Ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers;
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes;
  • Understanding of BIM, NavisWorks and Revit MEP (advantageous).
