About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Advanced Pharmacy Australia. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in improving patient care and outcomes from a medication perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide medication expertise and guidance to healthcare teams across various departments, including General Medicine, Surgical, Paediatrics, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Evaluation Medicine, Mental Health, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Oncology.
  2. Develop and implement medication use policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and outcomes.
  4. Provide education and training to pharmacy interns and undergraduate students.
  5. Participate in antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and aseptic and cytotoxic manufacturing training.

Requirements

  1. Tertiary qualification (Bachelors or Masters) in Pharmacy.
  2. Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
  3. Hospital experience is desired, but not essential.
