About the Role

As a Finance Data Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring daily and monthly tasks are completed in accordance with our SG Fleet Accounting and Reporting Manual, and all reporting requirements are delivered within strict reporting deadlines. You will play a key supporting role in helping Financial Control provide financial information to stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will process finance transactions with various financiers, including updates of any changes, and process urgent funding requests.
  • You will reconcile GL accounts as appropriate and prepare month-end reconciliation reports.
  • You will analyze and investigate discrepancies between our systems and financier systems, including arrears investigations.
  • You will liaise with relevant internal parties and financier contacts to resolve errors, review processes, and suggest changes for improvements and efficiency gains.
  • You will assist with internal and external audits.
  • You will conduct various analysis and ad-hoc reporting as requested.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with advance Excel skills, together with experience in working with spreadsheets and providing analysis on trends and movements. You should have a strong analytic mindset, with a strong desire for continuous process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiencies. You should be able to work with multiple systems, have proven customer service and communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize. You should also have strong technical/numerical skills and knowledge, and be thorough and accurate.
