About Our Disability Support Services:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Disability Support Worker to join our team in Rochedale South. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to customers with complex needs. Your daily tasks may include assisting with personal care, household duties, cooking, and medication management, all while providing companionship and building meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with complex needs, including In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access.
  • Provide manual handling and personal care, including bathing, toileting, and dressing.
  • Maintain effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Implement Positive Behavioural Support Plans and handle mental health challenges.
  • Prioritize workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease.

Requirements:

  • A current Open Driver's Licence.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • 1 year experience in the Disability Sector providing services to individuals with high-complex needs.
