Job Title: Radiographer - Interventional Cardiology Services (Cardiac Catheter Lab)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced radiographer to lead our team in the Interventional Cardiology Services department. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of radiography services, ensuring high-quality care for patients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing radiographic services and acting as the Radiation Safety Officer across all ICS labs
  • Providing strategic and operational support to radiographic and nursing staff, including rostering, training, and policy development
  • Ensuring compliance with quality assurance, equipment maintenance, radiation safety standards, and accreditation requirements
  • Supporting PACS systems and vendor coordination, including cybersecurity, troubleshooting, and equipment integration
  • Collaborating with the ICS Nurse Manager on service delivery, budgeting, risk management, and performance monitoring
  • Leading multidisciplinary initiatives, promoting evidence-based practice, and maintaining accurate radiation dose records in line with EPA regulations
About You
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified Medical Radiation Science professional with experience managing radiography services in complex interventional environments
  • Extensive experience in Medical Radiation Science, particularly in interventional radiography
  • Proven ability to manage complex clinical environments and technical equipment across multiple labs
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety, quality assurance, and accreditation standards
  • Skilled in coordinating care, developing clinical workflows, and supporting operational leadership
  • Committed to staff education, mentoring, and collaborative practice
