As a Retail Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of our retail store. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales performance and leading a motivated team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the seamless operation of the retail store, ensuring an optimal customer experience.
  2. Lead and direct staff, including recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance management to drive business results.
  3. Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency, streamlining processes and reducing waste.
  4. Monitor and evaluate sales performance and financial metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
  5. Manage financial operations, including budgeting and preparing reports to inform business decisions.
  6. Establish and maintain effective supplier partnerships, negotiating terms and pricing to secure best possible deals.
  7. Execute targeted marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase customer engagement and retention, driving long-term growth and profitability.
  8. Handle customer complaints while maintaining exceptional service standards, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  9. Ensure adherence to and enforcement of safety protocols to guarantee workplace health and safety compliance, protecting employees and customers alike.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum Diploma-level qualification in Retail Management or at least three years of relevant experience.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a retail management discipline.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with proven ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and building strong relationships.
  • Ability to manage financial and operational aspects of a store, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
