We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to join our team in a private hospital in Hobart, Tasmania. As a key member of our maternity unit, you will provide exceptional care and support to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prenatal care, labour and delivery, post-partum care, health promotion and education to women
- Work collaboratively with obstetricians, paediatricians, and nurses to ensure comprehensive care
- Contribute to a supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care
- Competitive hourly rate of up to $46.65 plus 11% superannuation
- Accommodation provided for short-term contracts (3-6 months)
- Return travel provided
- Opportunities for career and professional development
- Current registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions
- Minimum of 12 months' recent midwifery experience
- Working with Children's Check, or willingness to obtain
- National Police Check, or willingness to obtain
- Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
