About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our engineering and technical staff to provide system safety coordination on assigned programs and captures. You will be responsible for managing platform hazards realised in operations, maintenance, design, or arising from changes in the configuration, role, and environment, to ensure that these hazards are addressed.

Key Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing system safety coordination on assigned programs and captures
  • Maintaining program System Safety Program Plans
  • Providing advice to program management, engineering and technical staff, regarding their responsibilities within the system safety program, and the broader safety management system

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in engineering or a related field, with relevant experience as a Systems Safety Professional. You will also need to have knowledge of aircraft certification standards, such as MIL-STD-882, ARP4761 or other System Safety standards, and experience in completing detailed risk analysis.
