Propane Cylinder Fill Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill propane cylinders, load and unload trucks, and maintain accurate records.

The Role:
  • Receive, inspect, load/unload, and dispatch propane consigned to the terminal in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a working stock of full, tested propane exchange and in-situ cylinders.
  • Deliver propane cylinders to domestic and commercial customers by cylinder truck.
  • Carry out repairs and retests on propane cylinders and bulk vessels to ensure sufficient working stocks are maintained.
  • Control and record the movements inwards and outwards of all propane cylinders and bulk tanks, including regular stocktaking of propane product, cylinders, and bulk tanks.
Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain a calm and focused disposition during busy, noisy, or emergency situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the role, including the repeated lifting of 25kg propane cylinders up to shoulder height.
  • Forklift licence is favourable for this role.
