Clinical Trials Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Stroke Research Nurse Coordinator to join our Neurology-Stroke Research Team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking duties for current research trials, including Ethics/Governance submissions, site initiation, recruitment, scheduling visits, conducting assessments and reporting.
- They will also participate in the daily workings of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Stroke Program.
About You:
- Current registration as Registered Nurse in Victoria is essential.
- A basic understanding of the research process, including new project submissions and amendments, Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reporting and essential documentation is required.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for this role.
- Experience in review and development of policies and procedures is desirable.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skill is essential.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Undertaking clinical tasks such as nursing care, medication administration and vital sign monitoring.
- Recruiting and screening participants for research studies.
- Coordinating data collection and management for research projects.
- Preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
