About the Role

As a Glass Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality flat glass products to customer specifications.

You will work in our day and afternoon shifts, ensuring glass thickness and type are correct, adhering to quality standards, and free from faults prior to processing.

The role involves cutting glass using machines or hand cutting (where required), along patterns, templates, and in accordance with customer specifications. You will measure and mark glass prior to processing, and final measures before stacking ready for next process.

You will also operate various production machinery to cut, treat, and smooth glass, such as toughening, cutting, and buffing.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have a practical, hands-on approach to work, ability to follow set procedures and routines, and a methodical approach to work.

You should be able to work within a team and train others, with minimum 5 years in a glass processing or glass cutting role, trade qualifications desirable.

Additionally, you must have the ability to lift 25kg and move glass safely, and a quality and safety mindset.

Job Types and Details

The role is Full-time, Permanent, with pay ranging from $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year.

Work schedule includes Afternoon shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday.
