About This Role

The Quality Assurance & Compliance Lead plays a crucial role in shaping our response to evolving global and domestic regulatory changes, including the Aviation Customer Rights Charter and industry White Paper. This position requires the development and implementation of a quality assurance framework for the customer team, ensuring service excellence and compliance across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and align customer-driven policies across Jetstar and Qantas Group airlines, ensuring consistency with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate business risks, implementing remediation strategies to ensure compliance.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms to track and manage risk and compliance activities, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Support regulatory responses, including the White Paper and Aviation Customer Rights Charter, by analyzing quality outcomes and identifying trends.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant business discipline, such as aviation management or quality assurance.
  • Experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on quality management and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation sector regulatory environment, including industry standards and best practices.
  • Lean Six Sigma qualifications and risk identification and mitigation experience are desirable.
