The Footscray Hawks Basketball Club is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Club Uniform Coordinator. This position is crucial in ensuring all players receive their uniforms smoothly each season.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail. They will be responsible for managing uniform sales and distribution, organizing uniform shops, processing online orders, and coordinating with club officials.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about basketball and has experience in team management or customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Uniform Sales and Distribution: Manage uniform sales and distribution for two seasons per year.
- Uniform Shops: Organize and run three uniform shops annually, including the start of each season, awards ceremony shop, and mid-season shop if required.
- Online Orders: Process online orders and arrange pickup from a designated location.
- Stock Management: Maintain organized stock either at home or in a club-arranged storage facility.
- Email Communication: Use the shared Uniform Coordinator email to respond to queries.
- Member Updates: Inform members about size charts, order deadlines, and pickup instructions.
- Wait Times: Manage expectations around wait times and provide updates on stock availability.
- Treasurer Support: Receive support from the Treasurer, including ordering and topping up stock, creating pricing, conducting stocktakes, and updating stock levels in Wix.
- Bookings Coordinator: Work with the Bookings Coordinator to schedule RecWest for uniform shop events.
- Communications Officer: Collaborate with the Communications Officer to promote uniform shop dates on social media.
