Structural Engineering Opportunity

Our organization seeks a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Wagga Wagga. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with our global team of experts within a large and well-established consultancy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for structural design of buildings, inspections, assessments, and reporting. They will also work collaboratively with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.

  • Develop structural designs for buildings, including inspections, assessments, and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Lead project management and teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Participate in the development of projects from conception to final design and construction surveillance.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
  • 3- 6 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.
  • Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers.
