Role Overview

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced Physiotherapist who wants to work in a dynamic interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

The successful candidate will have excellent clinical practice skills in rehabilitation assessment and intervention, with a passion for managing a varied fast stream rehabilitation caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy rehabilitation services to inpatients and outpatients of varied diagnostic groups.
  • Deliver excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence-based practice.
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff and students.
Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Interest in developing pain management skills.
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork.
