Job Summary

The role of a Project Engineer - Stringing involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of stringing activities within transmission line construction projects.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Create and implement comprehensive stringing project plans, schedules, and methodologies in alignment with overall construction programs.
  2. Supervise and coordinate stringing operations to ensure safe and efficient installation of conductors, earth wires, and OPGW.
  3. Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation measures to guarantee milestones are achieved while adhering to safety protocols, environmental requirements, and quality standards during stringing operations.
  4. Manage resources effectively, including tracking costs and preparing progress claims as necessary.
  5. Resolve technical issues related to stringing equipment, methods, and alignment tolerances.
  6. Prepare project documentation, including method statements, inspection test plans, risk assessments, and daily/weekly progress reports.
