The Transition to Professional Practice Program is a valuable opportunity for newly qualified Enrolled Nurses to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to patients using a holistic approach. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and have the opportunity to consult with them to ensure that your level of competence meets the requirements of the role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualised care to patients
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Developing and implementing patient care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
  • A Diploma in Nursing or eligibility for registration upon completion of the diploma
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Please note that this position requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases.
