About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the occupational rehabilitation sector, providing holistic support to clients and helping them achieve positive outcomes.

As a Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological;
  • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills;
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to work outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • Full Professional Membership with ASORC;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness, with a strong focus on empathy and understanding;
  • Well-developed time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • A current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
