We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our project team in Sydney. The successful candidate will have experience building REST APIs with Golang and working with modern TypeScript framework.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will design, develop and improve existing systems, as well as build new features from conceptualization to realization.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Design and develop systems to increase functionality and usability.
  2. Build features and improvements from conceptualisation to realisation.
  3. Build automated tests for the REST API.
  4. Take operational responsibility for the services and code base that you will develop.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in software development.
  3. Mandatory experience in building REST APIs with Golang.
  4. Familiarity with modern infrastructure and tools.
  5. Experience working with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems is highly regarded.
  6. Experience building Automated Tests with Frameworks is favourable.
  7. Experience developing microservices infrastructure is ideal.
  8. Previous 'start-up' or 'scale-up' experience is advantageous.
  9. Familiarity with Docker, Postman, and GitLab is beneficial.
