About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacist to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy practice, with experience in managing pharmacy services and providing independent and autonomous judgement in the provision of pharmacy services. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and operate the designated pharmacy area, ensuring compliance with hospital and divisional policies and procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive high-level range of pharmacy services, including medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Optimise patient outcomes by implementing strategies to achieve the best possible quality use of pharmaceuticals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • A current National Police Clearance (NPC) and Working With Children Check (DHS).
