We act for both Australian and international clients, including high net worth individuals, small businesses, charities, not-for-profit organisations and private companies.

The Role

A part time / full time opportunity exists for a law student / junior lawyer to join our growing corporate-commercial team, providing legal advice on commercial transactions and corporate matters.

You can expect to be involved in a broad range of work, acquiring exposure to a broad range of experiences and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing transactional and corporate governance documentation
  • Conducting public register searches and inquiries
  • Submitting applications, lodging documents and managing registrations with government agencies
  • Legal research
  • Reviewing, considering and managing file materials
  • Preparing advice and correspondence
  • General administrative support

Requirements

  • Currently studying, or have completed, a Bachelor of Law (or equivalent)
  • Completed the topics corporate law and contract law
  • Strong academic results in university studies
  • High attention to detail, resilience, tenacity and diligence in all work carried out
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and organise time and workload and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office suite of programs
