Casual Research Assistant

About the Role

We invite highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as casual research assistants.

As a member of our research team, you will have the opportunity to work with world-class researchers on various projects.

  • Conduct literature reviews and gather information from academic sources.
  • Assist in preparing ethics and grant applications, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Manage projects and engage with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Recruit and engage participants for research studies, following established protocols.
  • Support data collection and analysis, using appropriate statistical methods.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring easy access to information.
  • Assist in preparing research outputs and reports, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills:

  • A relevant qualification at AQF+1 level (e.g. Honours, Masters, PhD).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • (Desirable) Active engagement with industry, professional bodies, or community groups.
