Essential Qualifications
  • Hold an advanced degree in Naval Architecture, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience.
  • Possess expert-level proficiency in FORTRAN programming.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Hydrodynamics principles.
  • Showcase experience in developing software using Intel FORTRAN and object-oriented programming methodologies.
  • Exhibit exceptional logical reasoning and engineering workflow expertise.
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.
Desired Skills
  • Experience working with hydrodynamic design and analysis tools such as MOSES, SESAM, Orcaflex, NEMOH etc.
  • Familiarity with aero-elastic wind turbine solvers like Bladed and OpenFAST.
  • A background in three-dimensional static and dynamic (time-history) analysis of structures, finite element development (thin and thick shell, solid, beams, columns), solution methods, direct/iterative solvers, sparse Eigen solvers would be beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of Oil & Gas offshore floating structures and renewable energy industry insights are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in C# or C++, Python, Excel, MathCAD, MatLab is necessary.
  • Experience in Agile-based software development processes and multi-threaded software development is desired.
