**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise mixing of ingredients to create high-quality liquid products.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment and possess sound mechanical aptitude. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential. You will also need to be able to follow instructions, processes, and procedures accurately.

Key responsibilities include weighing products, packing, labelling, capping bottles, quality checks, replenishing materials to avoid stoppages, identifying issues and reporting to the Production Manager, flat pack carton assembly, general clean-up of facility, maintaining a clean workspace, and following instructions from the Production Manager.

This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary per hour plus super. Immediate start is available where possible.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Preparing equipment in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and relevant SOP's (Standard Operating Systems)
  • Carrying out production as per the Job Sheet to accurately weigh and mix raw materials according to formulas.
  • Complying with all general safety directions for the workplace and those prescribed on the Job Sheets.
  • Ensuring all raw materials are handled and stored in accordance with quality guidelines.
  • Operating and monitoring mixing equipment, ensuring safety and consistent product quality.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in a similar Cosmetics/Pharmaceutical/Food/FMCG environment (Desirable but not essential)
  • Sound mechanical aptitude (Desirable but not essential)
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures.
  • A positive and engaging attitude.
  • Good level of physical fitness.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks e.g. stand, bend, reach, push and pull
  • Ability to wear PPE; GMP outer garments or Laboratory coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, hair/beard net.
  • Must not have severe allergies to plant materials.
  • Be able to lift up to 20kg in packaging materials regularly.
  • Have the ability to commute reliably and arrive on time each day is essential.
