We are seeking a skilled Diversional Therapist to join our team at Aged Care Resumes. As a Diversional Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering diversional therapy in a healthcare setting to clients with health, disability, or aged-related functional impairments.

• Develop and implement diversional therapy programs to meet the needs of clients.
• Deliver diversional therapy sessions to clients, including activities such as arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities.
• Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to meet those needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Conduct regular evaluations to assess the effectiveness of diversional therapy programs.

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Diversional Therapy, Bachelor of Health Science in Leisure and Health, or Bachelor of Health Science in Therapeutic Recreation.
• Demonstrated high-level written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated.
• Demonstrated experience in client goal development and delivering diversional therapy in a healthcare setting.
• Evidence of knowledge and commitment to the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice to diversional therapy.
