Senior Electrical Project Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our Collie BESS project team in Australia. This is a site-based DIDO role with opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing conceptual and detailed engineering of the project's HV substations, solar, battery, and electrical BOP. They will work closely with the project manager to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the project.

  • Assist in preparing forecasts and constructability of projects.
  • Supervise commissioning activities with the site commissioning teams.
  • Develop ITP and work packs for Electrical installation work packages.
  • Check Electrical works, Test Sheets, and signoff ITPs at the completion of works.
  • Assist the Project Manager with compliance to the documentation required under the UGL Management System.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in an Electrical Discipline.
  • Leadership ability and demonstrative experience in project management.
  • Substantial experience in HV electrical systems or worked on renewable/utility projects.
  • Proven experience with the supervision of technical staff.
  • Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies.
