Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Deli Team Member to join our Costco Wholesale team. As a Deli Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of food products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to members, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Food Preparation: Slice meats, cheeses, and vegetables for package sale and use in assembled products, assemble party trays, meals, pizzas, and salads, and skewer and cook chickens and ribs in commercial rotisserie ovens.
  • Inventory Management: Count product on hand, figure production needs, and document production on daily forms, and restock and assemble large boxes of ingredients and supplies in prep areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean equipment by disassembling and spraying with cleaning and sanitizing agents, and wash and sanitize parts in 3-compartment sinks.
  • Teamwork: Assist with front-end duties as necessary, assist other areas in the department as necessary, and assist in other areas of the warehouse as required by the business.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Previous Food Service Experience: Preferred
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required
  • Strong Communication Skills: Required
