About the role

We are seeking a seasoned facilities management professional to lead our operations in Southern Australia, covering sites in Richmond, Bankstown, Canberra, Adelaide, and Perth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth delivery of facility management services while managing the financial performance of these sites.

Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a consistent level of service across all locations. You will also mentor and guide the Facilities Coordinator based in Richmond, providing strategic advice on project management, leasing administration, and premises acquisition within your area of responsibility.

In this critical role, you will develop and implement strategic plans, including creating user-friendly reporting dashboards for planned and preventative maintenance programs. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide thoughtful advice to support business growth and development.

To succeed in this position, you will need to embody the Airbus values, demonstrating passion, determination, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Your skills and experience should include:

  • Previous experience in facilities management, with expertise in relevant systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Advanced Diploma in Facility Management or equivalent.
  • Strong demonstrated experience in property or corporate real estate at a management level, preferably in a complex industry environment.
  • Proven ability to work within an integrated model delivering Property, Facilities, Project, and Financial Management.
  • Strong business acumen, with high-level financial knowledge and skills.
  • Experience working in a QA, WHS, and environmental setting.
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible approach to problems and opportunities.
  • Knowledge and experience in digital Maintenance Management Systems.
  • A passion for providing service excellence and exceeding expectations.

About you
