Regional Maintenance Manager Role

The role of the Regional Maintenance Manager is to provide dedicated asset management for school maintenance formulation across the entire region.

This position will be integral to identifying asset failures and options for repair/renewal or removal, supporting medium-term asset planning for maintenance and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality advice and consultancy services to schools, senior management, and staff on facilities planning, investment, and portfolio operations.
  • Collaborating with other resource management specialists in areas relevant to the delivery of the work unit's service.
  • Providing client-focused facilities services and advice to staff in schools, regional centers, and other educational centers.
  • Preparing reports and briefing materials for senior officers.
  • Managing and monitoring the delivery of designated capital works, maintenance, and facilities services.
  • Advising senior officers on facilities planning and asset management issues.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the building and built asset maintenance environment.

  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in facilities management or a related field.
