About the Role:
The Hospital is a leading teaching facility that provides a wide range of services, including obstetrics, aged care, rehabilitation, emergency, intensive care, oncology, and psychiatric services. As a Staff Specialist in Adult Psychiatry, you will work closely with the Head of Adult Psychiatry and Clinical Director to maintain high standards of clinical governance and leadership in mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Adult Psychiatry and Clinical Director to ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and improve patient flow, service quality, and service improvement in inpatient units.
- Work closely with Nurse Unit Managers to deliver safe, effective, and cohesive multi-disciplinary care across adult inpatient units.
Requirements:
- Hold the FRANZCP qualification.
- Have SIMG with UK or similar experience.
