The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Veolia's Spring Farm Resource Recovery Park Facility. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance procedures, including periodic monitoring, regular servicing, and breakdown maintenance on all applicable items of the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, servicing, and monitoring as per Veolia policy and Spring Farm RRF maintenance procedures.
  • Perform fault finding and diagnostic tests of plant equipment.
  • Perform breakdown and preventive maintenance.
  • Conduct or co-ordinate condition monitoring activities to reduce breakdown frequency, severity, and duration.
  • Report on mechanical maintenance activities carried out during specified periods, including recommendations for improvements to the maintenance system.

Requirements

  • Trade Qualified Mechanical (Cert III or above)
  • Manual Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience working in a similar environment
  • Desirable tickets include Working From Heights, Confined Space, Boom Lift, Forklift Licence.
