Job Overview

The Asset Management Mining Team is seeking a Project Asset Readiness Expert to join them on a roster based at Perth for a contract.

You will be responsible for executing tasks in alignment with project phases and ensuring there are no gaps in the system tasks and plans that could become a project constraint.

The main objective of this position is to establish the groundwork of assets for smooth transition from project/acquisition phase to operation according to the Asset Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish FLOC, maintenance plan, task lists, and PMI documents.
  • Develop PM strategies through FMECA or similar process focusing on asset reliability & criticality.
  • Contribute to the implementation, execution, and improvement of HSE procedures and activities.
  • Establish spare parts, procurement, and logistics management processes.
  • Identify spare parts requirements, spare parts cataloguing, and establish optimum spare parts levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of master data knowledge.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or similar technical field; or an appropriate trade qualification with demonstrated combination of training and experience.
  • Sound skills in SAP maintenance module.
