We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic team at Alfred Health, where you will have the opportunity to transition from General Nursing to Mental Health with comprehensive support.
This role offers a unique chance to develop your skills in risk assessment, mental state assessment, care planning, and knowledge of Mental Health nursing care and practice. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and mentors to gain confidence and competence in this exciting field.
- You will be based at either the Adult or Aged Mental Health Inpatient Units with scope for rotations to the Community Care Unit.
- A dedicated Enrolled Nurse Educator and Graduate Nurse Educator will provide guidance and support throughout your journey.
As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with consumers, carers, family members, and other professionals. You will also demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Australian working rights (Visa holders, please ensure you have the necessary documentation).
- Current Influenza vaccination.
- Ability to undergo a Background Check.
