As a Project Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely financial reporting of major projects in the resources, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive budgeting plans in line with project scope and work breakdown structures.
  • Conduct regular forecasting and estimate-to-complete analyses to inform project decisions.
  • Analyze cost performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage project accounting activities, including cost control, accruals, provisions, allocations, and cost transfers.
  • Prepare detailed management reports for senior management and participate in review discussions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project finance or accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 AUD, depending on experience.
