About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Officer to join our Clinical Trials Team at the Royal Hobart Hospital. As a key member of the team, you will provide support to the establishment, undertaking, and coordination of research projects, Haematology and Oncology Registries, and Clinical Trials studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management, administrative, and research-related functions to support the Clinical Trials Team.
  • Act as a resource person for non-clinical aspects of clinical trials, including medical investigators, nursing and laboratory staff, pharmacists, and other hospital departments.
  • Support the coordination of collaborative cancer group, commercial sponsor, and local investigator-initiated research within the Clinical Trials Team.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive databases for the Clinical Trials Team.

The Cancer and Blood Services (CaBS) at the Royal Hobart Hospital is a comprehensive service dedicated to cancer and blood disorder patients, including the state-wide bone marrow transplant service.
