About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Plant Operator to join our team at Cement Australia's Clyde facility. As a key member of our Packaged Products and Terminals (PPT) Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient production and storage of bagged products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dry mix and cement bagging machinery to meet production targets
  • Load and unload trucks, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow
  • Perform regular housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Operate forklifts and front-end loaders to move materials and products
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Conduct product testing to ensure quality and consistency
  • Sort and organize pallets to optimize storage and shipping
  • Operate bagging machinery to package products for distribution
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience as a forklift driver, with a current forklift license
  • Experience in a similar plant operations role, with a strong understanding of industrial processes
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with SAP applications
  • Sound mechanical aptitude and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 20Kg)
  • Ability to work autonomously and be proactive in a fast-paced environment
