EHST Specialist

An opportunity exists for an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) professional to join our dynamic team. This is a field-based role that partners with operational leaders to manage EHS risk in the workplace.

The successful candidate will influence, coach and partner with operational leaders and team members to encourage best practices and behaviours, enhancing EHST outcomes and achieving overarching goals.

A few key responsibilities include:

• Influencing operational leaders and team members to adopt best practices and behaviour change initiatives
• Collaborating with the EHST team to develop and deliver activities and results
• Mentoring EHS officers on incident investigations, risk assessments and project work

The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience in EHS, relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent, and experience working across the resource industry and related sectors.

We are seeking an individual who can provide coaching and guidance on managing EHS requirements and standards within our organisation.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret data and initiate recommendations for improvement.

Additionally, advanced computer skills are necessary for this position.
