To succeed in this position, you'll need:

  • A Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker screening check
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • NDIS Orientation Modules
  • Covid-19 Infection Control (Australian Government) certification
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

No experience is required; training will be provided.

As a support worker, you'll assist clients in their homes with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic assistance.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Personal Care (showering, bathroom assistance, grooming)
  • Medication Monitoring (on-the-job training and nationally recognized certificate)
  • Incontinence care (Uridome or pad changes, training provided)
  • Palliative Care (aged care and disability)
  • Domestic Assistance (light housework, shopping, light yard work)
  • Meal Preparation and cooking
  • Social Support
  • Transportation to and from work or appointments

You'll have flexible scheduling with part-time hours (6-15 per week), working various shifts, including afternoon, day, evening, and night shifts, Monday to Friday, public holidays, and shift work. Supplemental pay types include bonuses, overtime pay, penalty rates, and performance bonuses.
