Job Overview

Sutherland Shire Council is seeking a skilled Turf Maintenance Professional to join our team. This permanent full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a gross annual salary of $67,000 - $71,000.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, preparation, and construction of turf wickets, playing surfaces, and landscaped areas in Sutherland Shire. This includes coordinating plant and equipment, ensuring quality work standards, and adhering to safety regulations.

This role is ideal for individuals with a Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management or relevant industry experience. A NSW WHS General Induction Card (White card), AQF3 Chemcert or equivalent qualification, and Class C Driver's Licence are also required. Experience in turf maintenance, hazard assessment, and supervision of staff or contractors is advantageous.
