This is a captivating opportunity to combine creativity with design expertise. The successful candidate will oversee the visual direction and graphic design of a prominent publication, ensuring high-quality output that resonates with the brand's audience.

About the role

The Art Director will be responsible for spearheading the creative input and visual appearance of the brand across all formats, working closely with the Editor and reporting to the Category Creative Director.

You'll need to possess excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, organised, deadline-driven, reliable, positive, and proactive.

Duties

  • Deliver design work on time in accordance with the workflow and production schedule.
  • Champion the creative vision and visual identity of the brand.
  • Implement brand design style/DNA consistently.
  • Liaise with editor and editorial team on design effectiveness and opportunities for innovation.
  • Be proficient in Photoshop pre-press skills.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of Digital output.

  • Proven high level graphic design and visual communication skills
  • A highly organised and passionate individual
  • Great energy and a positive attitude
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Expert organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding/experience of category workflow is essential
