Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our clients, supporting them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
About the RoleThis is a part-time or full-time opportunity, with flexible work arrangements to suit your needs. You will be working with a diverse range of clients, providing therapeutic interventions and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients, providing therapeutic services and support to help them achieve their goals
- Assess clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support to clients
- Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and promote independence
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
